What I suggested is good for both pain and anxiety. It's also good for keeping Opiod cravings away. But if you're actually detoxing/quitting from an Opiod habit, you will need more….much more. If that's the case, let me know.
> Yeah, will do, it's been abut 2 weeks. And I've noticed how productive and cheerful he has been even compared to after one week. I'll get back to you in a couple more and let you guys know. ( And yes, once a day is his intake) Mailing him another package this morning. trying to keep him out of the smoke shops so I don't mind helping him out till he gets over his discomfort with using his credit card online lol Old people. Whatayagonna do?
You are a very good friend to have, Rip, he is very fortunate :shy:
And yes, smoke shops are not always the best place to buy Leaf, especially for a new kratom consumer.
I look forward to your updates on him
> IMO Gabapentin is hit or miss as far as effectiveness, and it definitely can be addictive and produce withdrawals if used regularly. Use with extreme caution or don't use at all.
Thanks Biz and everyone who took the time to answer my question! I actually missed this last part until now because I forgot to subscribe to this thread! So I did decide to stop using it last Monday after a few days of no noticeable improvement. And glad I did. I believe my neuropathy stems from years and years of having my feet pressed hard into my stirrups to maintain balance ( the saddle kind, not the OBGYN kind  and I began noticing a lot of pain and numbness in my feet a few years ago. It got so bad that I'd have to get off and walk it off when on a long trail ride, then mount again for a while, then walk again. I know my doctor has my best interest at heart but never once mentioned the possibility of dependance. And although at first kratom didn't do much for my neuropathy, it seems to be working well now. Thanks again :D
> Thanks itza! I don't think I'm having much trouble ingesting. I just say 'get in my belly!' and it usually does one way or ta other lol But always looking for new info because being fairly new I'm of the mind that there is a lot to learn and I want to know as much as I can. **When you are certain something has literally saved your life as I do, you want to know everything about it.** Thanks so much for all the help and great info! You guys have been great!
I couldn't agree more, Rip. And guess what? I am absolutely positive that kratom has saved my life not once but TWICE!!! So, I owe our precious Leaf my eternal gratitude AND I am DEVOTED to saving this Leaf for all people who do or may use it to live. That is why I donate ALL of my time to working with the American Kratom Association because I truly believe that they are our last best chance to achieve my number one priority …
**KEEP KRATOM LEGAL!!!** :datsphatyo:
> lol Seems obvious enough, right? But truthfully, I have found doing a 'shot' simply works so much better for me. The difference is really huge as far as pain relief goes. Thanks!
Have you tried dissolving in a small amount of hot water and then mixing with some other beverage, like a strongly flavored juice or coffee? I use grapefruit juice. Gets the job done without too much hassle, even on bad tasting strains.
Thanks for the great info!

> You can still keep the red and green mixture, just change up strains or vendors occasionally so you get a different alkaloid makeup. Also, Stem & Vein will help tolerance….and from certain vendors, it's just a good as plain leaf.
Thanks for the help! That sounds like something I can manage :)
> I'm in that category. My liver enzymes have always been fine.
To be completely honest, my liver enzymes were slightly elevated several years ago. Be aware that liver enzymes can bounce transiently up or down so my doc ran a series of 3 liver panels over about a month & a half time frame & all three tests were elevated. This was about a month before I came back to kratom (yes, kratom has saved me twice … so far). Fast forward to a week ago, I just finished yet another series of three liver function tests & all three were well within normal.
Considering the lab is where I have lived much of my life I fully comprehend how important this is to my health & well-being. Kratom has given me yet another chance.
