I am planning on going to Michigan and would be driving through Indiana which has banned Kratom. I am in no way going to risk my families well being by trying to take it in the car with me. So I am planning on shipping it up there but was concerned it could be stopped and seized in Indiana. Today I verified 100% from the local Post Master, that if something is legal in the departure state as well as the destination state, that while it is in custody of the USPS it is under federal jurisdiction and can not be seized even if it is somehow stopped in a banned state. I just thought some of you may be interested in this information as I remember hearing about this happening in Alabama. She said as long as it is not open and spilling out that the post office is not allowed to look in the package without a warrant and they have no right to seize it, just FYI!
