I shipped this customer a kratom plant and I'm not quite sure what he did wrong.

He says

I have it it indoors with a grow light and keep it very moist. The soil is always moist and a mist the leaves everytime I walk past it. The light is backed way off past it recommended specs and is only kept on for 3 or so hours a dday. and No, I wouldn't fertilize until I saw actual growth

This is the light he is using. 

I personally think it might have something to do with the lights but I was hoping someone here might know 

it looks cooked and dried out. It would be nice to see it in regular light

thats what I thought as well. I think he has the lights too close or on way too long. 

Yeah don't use any light over 50w for small kratom plants.

@Frankp4998 any suggestions on a good light to use
