New Grower

So as most of you guys know I'm a novice grower. I was wondering what kind of fertilizer regimen you folks use out there?

I like Alaska fish emulsion fertilizer in general, and use volcanic ash for trace elements.  I avoid salt type fertilizers, such as miracle grow,  since kratom is sensitive to salt buildup.

i've been going with bone meal due to the sheer amount of feet required.

Like @peteypyro I've found fish emulsion to be an absolute fuel for plant growth. It's just cost prohibitive at scale. (I need to start fishing for my own)!

I've been using triple 20 on a once weekly root drench. Thinking of maybe adding chicken fertilizer (nutri-rich) every two weeks.

I’ve been using Fox Farms Grow Big and Big Bloom, which are great for vegetative growth. The Grow Big can cause salt buildup, but I’m only using a tablespoon per gallon every second or third watering and haven’t had any issues. Also amend the the soil with Azomite and worm castings.

But once she goes in the ground this Spring I’ll need to find some less costly nutes.
