have you seen this insect?

As if the dozen ore so mosquito species that swarm outside.rhr front and back door weren't enough of a brother.

Jaime and myself have been noticing very small white looking flys that cause a burning sensation when on the skin (basically feels like hot cigarette ashes).

@will maybe they are Ceratopogonidae, a family of flies commonly known as no-see-ums, or biting midges, generally 1–3 mm in length. The family includes more than 5,000 species, distributed worldwide, apart from the Antarctic and the Arctic. Wikipedia.  

I've been seeing (feeling) more ticks, mosquitoes, and other biting insects this year, and earliest in the year too.  Seen good insects too...
