What you get if you pinch every 3rd node...

 bushy plants... and a thick trunk full of buds... even if I cut it down, it will probably come back stronger, like a live oak tree.

Very nice!  I just pinched/fimmed all the tips (except the top) on my container plants. 

yep.... after this winter is over I plan on really cutting back on all my trees so they can explode
