Hello I use Kratom because of my addiction to drugs and also because i have RLS. I just heard that the DA will accept the FDA's suggestion to make Kratom a schedule 1\. Im so distraught because i dont wanna go back to what i was and there isnt anything wrong or dangerous about Kratom. Someone please let me know what i can do. I have already emailed my congressman and he says he has his own reservations about it.I wanna go off on him but that wont help. Can someone calm me down?

'itzatwist' can shed more light on this. from what i understand it appears to be a stalemate with the fight potentially leaning in our favor with the recent developments of the FDA lying and getting caught. in the mean time, hold a little insurance policy and buy what you can afford just in case. its ashame it has to be like this but try and grab a dozen kgs little by little.

Worst case scenario, it would still be two years before any ban could happen. Hypothetically, even is the DEA scheduled it today, the process takes a couple years. So what I'm saying is, there's no need for any immediate panic. Plus, we know nothing concrete at this point. Anything you've heard is just rumors (well, the FDA obviously wants the DEA to schedule it, but the DEA hasn't responded yet).

Next, we have a lot of very good people working the front lines & navigating the political jungle FOR US. Please do not allow your distress to ruin the good thing that you have, ok? Do NOT, I will repeat it cuz it is very important, do NOT listen to rumors! Those kinds of rumors have been going on for years. As I have already said, we have a very good team working for us & they will let us know what is what if "what" ever happens. Right now, you can continue to do what you have been doing; educate by calling, emailing & sending information to your congresspersons.
