So I read a really terrible article by an uneducated reporter in Pennsylvania. I felt the need to write them because the article was the typical, illogical, misinformation, written only to get viewership ratings.

I tried to find the article again, but I actually think they pulled it.

Here is my email to the reporter.

Ms. Rule,

I recently read your article on Kratom use and the death of a young man in the area of Chester County. While his death is tragic, studies have shown that people are buying Kratom from places like 7-11 or a Circle K are not buying kratom. Only legitimate suppliers of kratom who grow under the guidance of the federal and/or state governments should be the sources for kratom, not some convenience store who are the same sources who sold "bath salts" a decade ago.

Your article is lacking in research and information which would provide the public with a valid opinion on what is happening in the kratom community today. There is far too much misinformation being given to the public, all in the name of pushing hype for either viewership numbers or because BigPharma wants their billion dollar legal opioid drug trade to continue.

Studies have shown that people who are drug abusers are abusing other drugs and the FDA's report on kratom in 2017/2018 showed that 8/10 of kratom users were found to have excessive levels of illegal drugs in their system, including heroin, cocaine or prescription opioids.

The tens of thousands of legitimate users of kratom have been attempting to inform the public that kratom isn't the problem with drug abusers, but it is the system that is shuffling them through with a revolving door which does not provide the proper mental care they need to rid their lives of their drug addictions.

As a user of kratom for the last six months, I can tell you that after thirty-five years of pain and suffering I finally found a solution which not only stops the pain, but doesn't change the state of my reality, put me in a sleepy stupor or have the addictive side affects. I can stop and start as needed and there is not a single moment of addiction to the kratom. I only take a small amount as needed when I have pain. Nothing in thirty-five years of prescribed medications provided me with the same results.

There is research being done by REAL scientists/researchers who are discovering the value of such compounds found in kratom which can help people kick the opioid addictions or provide pain relief with out the addictive side effects of prescription drugs. Here are some links for you to use in future articles.
