A rare sight, Petey in the kratom patch...
despite being pinched regularly (the plants, not me), they now tower over me.
the phalaenopsis orchids are budding... all 3 of them. 😀 I'll hide them under the kratom trees next spring.
they should like the subtropical climate under the branches
they are being 'forced' into bloom for the holiday season. Lots of phosphate fertilizer. Well, maybe just a pinch....
...and reds by day too! I 🤪😀😉
that triple super phosphate can make anything bloom, in a pinch. Literally a pinch is all it takes.
