couldn’t quite make out the partial shade comment. Does that yield larger leaves ?

@pete2000 yes actually. The more shade they get the larger the leaf.
Also something else that affects size is if the limbs is producing kratom seed pods. If so the size of the leaf is significantly smaller. This side of the tree gets full Western sun.

thanks @guywithtrees thats interesting. Would be cool to have an faq that contains tidbits like this. Or maybe you should write a Kratom Kultivation book!
