SPRINGTIME

At last. Greenhouse can be cleaned out here, clones hardened off, and the young trees finally planted.

Nice site for the trees. Breezy and tropical, just like home (not really).

Peat moss, shredded palmetto stems, perlite, and a 1" thick Black Cow composted manure top dressing.

FREE Coffee grounds from my local Starbucks shop... for the trees. Great bug repellent. Breaks down into rich fertilizer.

The 'mistakes' and the 'losers' can be composted and recycled as well.

very nice! perfect time to get them in the ground. winter has passed, time to plant. lol

lovely. How did you process the clones and did you do it inside or outside over the winter?

I need to upload some pics myself. Thanks for the reminder! Hope you are doing well

@will These were rooted in the greenhouse, on a chicken egg brooder heating pad, to keep the soil warm and encourage rooting. Cold weather seems to lull mine into dormancy. The were cloned per my older post, "All a clone on a Friday night", posted last year. I hope to make a better tutorial on mass cloning in another month or two. I've learned a lot from my last treatise on cuttings. Be well, Will.
