it's been chilly!

In other news I cooked hotdogs by the couch with a plugin burner. Life is good

Yep, chilly this morning and Accuweather saying low of 36 tomorrow. That’ll be coldest since my tree was planted. 

It must have been really cold last night. How did things turn out?

Bundled my little ones up last night. Not exactly a green house, but it helps.

They were a bit warmer than air temp this morning. 

Unfortunately my big girl was on her own. Quite a bit cooler in the yard.

Been giving them potassium silicate once a month or so to help protect from the cold. Will also add a little SuperThrive to their water this week to lessen any cold damage. 

On the bright side supposed to have a high of 88 on Sunday. 

Let's hope that winter is waning.

These poor trees need a break from this weather.

  They're evergreen tropicals, not deciduous hibernators.

They want steamy rain forest.
