Aloha everyone, writing you from the Big Island of Hawaii. Long time kratom user and passionate advocate. New to the island, so I’m happy that I live in a place (i think) I can grow fairly well outdoors Year around. I have 2 trees i that I got randomly at a nursery. I don’t what kind they are, or have any experience growing kratom. The people at nursery were more clueless than me. I do have other garden experience though. The good news is that they’ve been in the ground 6 months and are are still alive! :)
Anyways, I have some seeds and a couple clones on the way. I wanted to know should I try growing/germinating these indoors at first?Then transfer outside? Or, should I do everything outdoors? Or, Get a green house outside? I’ve never worked with any young ones yet. Any advice or ideas are welcome. I’m sure there will be some trial and error. I just don’t have a lot of $. If anyone wants to donate a couple cuttings to the cause i would be super grateful :) I’ll send updates along the way and pictures. It’s hard getting stuff sent here without being super expensive.
My dream is to get a little nursery going here. I think it would be pretty fun. It’s still a pipe dream at this point. One more question, if I have a cutting should I try to root it in water? Or in soil with rooting hormones/compound? Thanks!
